The pros & cons of social networking sites.

Like everything, social networking sites have also got pros and cons.As a matter of fact,for everything people use social medias.People are in awe if you say you aren't linked with any social
medias as you came from an other planet or something.

One of the greatest disadvantage I see and experience is that it kills time. We've no time for those things we used to have.We aren't productive Muslims anymore because  we're always there scrolling our smartphones and being curious of the like and comments we may get.Sometimes we have to disconnect to get the real connection.These days when we attend a family get together things aren't the same .The fun,chats,games,jokes are disappearing slowly. We've become prisoners of these social networks.
Well,It's not just the killing of time it can also lead you into a world of sparkling illusions and delusions.Kids now are hooked by these sites.The bad,the evil,the wicked,the immoral,you name the worst it's got it.You could accidentally fall into the trap, So always stay alert 'cause you'll be bombarded from all the directions.

   To talk about advantages,It's so many, Alhamdulillah. Sometimes when you feel your imaan down what you can do is, hear lectures,talks and read many inspiring articles which could really help(with the help of Allah).You can change your whatsapp into a mission of propagating the deen of Allah.You know,how fast it spreads.You could blog,update statuses,create pages,share images related to Islam and portray it in the right way so that the other people gets a chance to know what Islam really is, since our religion is misunderstood by many people.And yes, you could earn rewards so easy from Allah. I've met a new Muslim lady who was a Christian at first,She learnt about Islam through one of the social medias; that means someone has stepped into the mission of dawah through theses social media and is successful.Ma sha Allah.
 Nowadays,business is also done through social networks.We see many sites owned by different
companies to promote their products via fb,twitter,whatsapp,instagram etc which is very productive and beneficial.Most of the people have advanced through this way.So,this one's very effective.
Advantages,are many to list(like the demerits). for instance, you are always informed about current affairs which is really useful.You get to know what is happening around despite which corner of the Earth you are.
You could also develop hobbies; that is learn more techniques,ideas and process and ways in which something is done.We can help others too in something we are good at.
An other thing is that,it becomes easy to connect with your near one's through social networks.You are able to chat,talk,video-chat,transfer images and videos to your relative,family or anyone who is staying far from you.And you don't feel that distance and is always connected and updated about what's happening with them. Oh,yes.This path could lead to disadvantages too.As there's something called evil eye.Whenever you update things via social medias know that there might be folks around who's be longing for those.And it's human nature to  show off all those things you've been blessed with.So think twice whenever you are going to do something new(though we've been taught to stay content with whatever we have,Alhamdulillah).

And be careful and alert not only because you'll be bombarded from all the direction(as I mentioned before); the thing you publish can spread widely around the globe and can reach everywhere.So,always try to utilize the social networks and internet by promoting good and shunning the evil.
